| KATSUSHIKA HOKUSAI Period 1805 - 1810 |
| In 1798 Hokusai declared an individual style by adopting Hokusai Tokimasa as his new art name. Seven years later, the signature was changed to Katsushika Hokusai with which he pioneered the world of yomi-hon book illustrations.
